Believe it or not, you can actually redress [tag]Robert Downey Jr.[/tag], the Iron Man himself in any way that you like. You will be able to actually change the color and design of the suit that the Iron Man wears. The suit comes in a variety of colors and with a variety of different types of weapons built in, presumably based on knowledge gleaned from the various iterations of the suit in the original Marvel comics (did you know that in the comics, Iron Man is able to carry his suit inside of a briefcase – now that's some job of miniaturization, eh?). The game starts with Iron man in the buff, but parents, not to worry. This is actually a cartoon visualization of Iron Man and a non anatomically correct version at that. There is nothing to see but the most basic torso (sorry, I kind of lied when I said you would actually dress up Robert Downey Jr, but hey, a girl can dream can't she?).

Once you get the Iron Man dressed up in this Ironman game, there is unfortunately not much else to do. The game does let you keep switching out different types of suits of armor and different colors and weapons, but then that's it.

One of the biggest pitfalls that fantasy writers can fall into is to make super weapons that have incredible powers. Often times these powers are bequeathed on the weapon through magic. It is too easy to have an ancient sword that was forged by a magical Dwarven blacksmith who captured a dragon and used its fire to harden the [tag]magical sword[/tag] like no other sword has ever been hardened. While this can be fun to write and maybe fun to read you should do your best to avoid situations like this. It is too easy to rely on things like this as ways to get you out of difficult situations. Remember, everything has to be in balance, and everything has to make sense. If you do have a weapon, say that your hero is wielding, and it has unusual powers, you should balance this with something. What is the cost of this weapon or sword? Does wielding it bring danger to the wielder? Is there a fatigue factor? Consider this. It also adds dimension and excitement to the story. If our hero is hesitant to use the sword it will add a dimension of drama to the story. He better have a really good reason to use it.

While he's not quite as much of an anti-hero as, say, marvel comics the punisher, he's certainly no bright and happy-go-lucky ball of sunshine either. He does have morals and limits, unlike many anti-heroes, but he still leans more to the darker side of the spectrum than his contemporaries of the truth and justice ilk.

The previously mentioned marvel comics the Punisher is probably a more appropriate example of an anti-hero. He does what he does for justice, but he also does it for revenge. And, unlike Batman, he has no limits. He willingly kills and tortures those he deems worthy of his brand of justice and feels no remorse over it. He is one step away from becoming that which he despises, but yet he plays for the side of the angels and has fans all the same. So what defines an anti-hero then? Is it just having a darker tone to their character, or a darker outlook on life? Perhaps, but in general they are also loners who don't care about the public or personal perceptions of their behavior or character. They do what they want when they want as long as it meets their goals and feels right. They take no crap from anyone and stand up to everyone, and this has gained them a faithful audience of rebels who are tired of living their lives for other people.
